Each year, PAWS Booster Club allocates (6) $1,000 scholarships to our graduating seniors. To apply, students write an essay for the following categories:
Scholarships
ACADEMICS
ATHLETICS
COMMUNITY SERVICE
FINE ARTS
PRIDE
COMEBACK
Students may apply to one category, two or more, or all categories. However, a student is only eligible to receive one scholarship. Judging is done by members of the PAWS Board. Essays submitted to the judges do not contain the students’ names, so the scoring is impartial. The winning essay in each category will receive a $1000 scholarship. The check must be made payable to an institute of higher learning such as a: university, community college, technical or vocational school.
Scholarship winners will be announced at the SENIOR AWARDS CEREMONY on May 15.
